| Battling Brierley secures victory in a thrilling A-Final during BRKC Round 5 at Teesside Autodrome. Having started in fifth place, Sean Brierley moved progressively towards the leading pack before working his way into third position. Brierley then capitalised on the intense duel between Rhianna Purcocks and Chris Hackworth to dive between the pair and take the lead. Brierley then pulled away from the pack, until his significant advantage was threatened by Hackworth in the final few laps. Despite intense pressure in the closing stages, Brierley was able to hold onto the lead and secure his first BRKC victory. The top five drivers were separated by just one second after the fifteen lap race, with Ben Allward completing the podium. In the Heavyweight Class, Andrew Bayliss took a convincing victory ahead of Lee Jones and Alex Vangeen. |
